God frequently opens doors that are new to us
when our current plans disappear as light enveloped in a dark mist.
Occasionally new ideas seem too different to receive our merit,
just as traveling on dubious paths requires great faith and an energetic spirit.
Sometimes we must step forward even when the road is not discernable,
in order to make progress that does not at first look agreeable.
God sees the miles when we can only see in inches.
He knows the beginning and the end when we barely see what is right before us.
We must trust in things that mortal eyes cannot detect –
as well as things that confuse our finite intellect.
The math God uses is not always what we are familiar with.
The numbers don’t often add up as we would expect.
It is said that “God moves in a mysterious way his labors to perform”.
The humble seek His will and then prepare to conform.
Just as the wind can be felt, but may not be seen,
we may know through divine inspiration what plans He esteems.
One thing is for sure and without debate –
when we let God be our guide we will not go astray or arrive too late.
